Our client is an International Property Investment company and they seek a Portuguese speaking Temp-to-Perm Assistant Accountant. This role reports into the Finance Director and responsibilities include,
- Prepare monthly management accounts as required for international developments managed by the Company and management companies created by the Company.
- Review and reconcile management information prepared by overseas accountants to that held in the UK and identify any necessary adjustments or changes in accounting treatment
- Prepare annual budgets for international developments managed by the Company
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for international developments managed by the Company in accordance with the obligations under the relevant management agreements
- Prepare annual financial statements, where required, for UK legal entities owning developments overseas
- Prepare and post journal entries to SAGE
- Monitor cash balances and prepare documentation for further drawdown of funds
The successful candidate will be fluent in Portuguese and be studying towards ACCA/CIMA. This person will have a sound working knowledge of Sage Line 50, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience of the preparation of Management Accounts, Annual Financial Statements, budgets and cash flows is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
